Ajna Chakra / Third Eye Chakra

The Eye of Inner Wisdom

The Ajna Chakra, or Third Eye, is the sixth energy center and the bridge between human awareness and divine consciousness. Located between the eyebrows, it is called the Chakra Raaj—the master of all chakras. Meaning “to command” or “to perceive,” Ajna governs intuition, clarity, and insight. Represented by a white Shiva Lingam and a two-petaled lotus, the Agya Chakra embodies the unity of Atma and Paramatma, Shiva and Shakti, and the qualities of truth, consciousness, emptiness, and bliss. When awakened, it dissolves ego, lust, and illusion, allowing us to see the reality of the Self and act with clarity, discrimination (Viveka), and divine wisdom. It is where wisdom awakens and the illusion of separation dissolves.

When this chakra is not active, a person struggles to find balance between logic and intuition. The mind feels confused, meditation becomes shallow, and inner guidance feels out of reach. Instead of clarity, there is restlessness. Instead of higher awareness, there is doubt and mental noise.

Ajna Chakra Guided Meditation

As Maa Chaitanya Meera explains, the Ajna Chakra is the place of the Guru Tattva — the inner guide. But when this center is blocked, one feels cut off from that inner wisdom. Lust, attachment, and illusions continue to trouble the mind, making it hard to see the truth. Instead of clear judgment and freedom, a person may feel stuck, uncertain, and unable to make the right decisions. The intellect and heart may feel out of balance, pulling in different directions.
Through guided practices like Trataka (candle gazing), Shambhavi Mudra, and Lagnodaya Dhyaan, Gurumaa helps seekers awaken this inner eye, harmonize the Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna Nadis, and dissolve karmic patterns.
Trataka, derived from Sanskrit meaning “to gaze steadily,” is an ancient yogic practice designed to still the mind through focused vision. Under Maa Chaitanya Meera’s guidance, Trataka becomes a mindful spiritual journey rather than a mechanical exercise where she reminds seekers that Trataka is a tool for spiritual growth—where gaze is turned inward and a sadhak begins to learn the art of stillness, cultivating both inner light and insight while living in harmony with the timeless wisdom of the Vedas.
By shedding ego and illusion under Gurumaa’s guidance, sadhak begins to experience intuition, insight, and the wisdom of the inner Master. Ajna Chakra meditation is not merely about seeing beyond—it is about being beyond, where silence turns luminous and the self merges with pure awareness.
