Anahata Chakra / Heart Chakra

The Heart of Love and Compassion

The Anahata Chakra, or Heart Chakra, is the fourth energy center — the bridge between the physical and the spiritual. Located at the center of the chest, it is the seat of shuddha prem (pure love) and vishuddha prem (selfless love). Its name, Anahata, means “unstruck” or “unhurt,” symbolizing love that is beyond condition, untouched by ego or expectation. For children and adults alike, a balanced Anahata addresses disorders such as ADHD (by redirecting attention).

Anahata chakra is linked to the heart, lungs, and the energy of love and openness. Its twelve-petaled green lotus represents the soul’s qualities: peace, kindness, joy, and understanding. When the heart energy does not flow properly, a person may feel heavy, lonely, or cut off from others. These blocks can show up as hurt feelings, resentment, emotional pain, or even tightness or discomfort in the chest area or heart-related ailments.

Anahata Chakra Guided Meditation

Through Maa Chaitanya Meera’s heart-centered meditation, seekers learn to awaken this divine center by focusing on the heart space, chanting the mantra “YAM”, and visualizing the glowing green lotus. Gurumaa’s guidance helps release cravings and expectations, transforming emotional wounds into compassion and love without conditions.
As the heart opens, the Anahad Naad — the unstruck inner sound — begins to resonate, bringing serenity and connection with the cosmic rhythm. With regular practice, the Anahata Chakra blossoms into a temple of peace, balance, and divine love — where giving and receiving flow naturally, and the heart expands beyond self into boundless oneness with all that is.
