Muladhar Chakra / Root Chakra

The Root of Stability and Strength

The Muladhara Chakra, or Root Chakra, is the foundation of our physical and spiritual being, situated at the base of the spine — the seat of stability, security, and strength. It forms the border between animal and human consciousness. According to Karmic Law, it holds the blueprint of our future destiny. It represents stability, courage, and vitality, forming the base from which energy and consciousness rise.  It is symbolized by a red lotus with four petals, representing mind (Manas), intellect (Buddhi), consciousness (Chitta), and ego (Ahamkara). The inverted triangle shows cosmic energy moving inward.

When the body holds deep-seated toxins, stress, and emotional blocks, it creates heaviness, confusion, and a constant pull toward illusions and fantasies that disturb our awareness, leading to the blockage of Muladhara Chakra.
